Cone 6: Pink Opal produces a desert rose pink that ranges from semi-translucent to fully opaque, depending on application thickness. Thin applications yield a clear glaze with hints of pink precipitate; heavier applications will create an opaque purple-pink gloss finish that can also form a whitish cast in select areas.

Cone 10: Pink fades out entirely, leaving a transparent gloss with white pooling.

TIP: Vertical pieces best allow the glaze to flow and create a semi-transparent, rose veil. Body textures and features will still be visible through the glaze. Thinner application will provide a glossy transparent finish. Thicker application will provide light pink floating. Surface decoration will be visible under the glaze, but if you apply the glaze thick, it could blur your image.
