Start making your own pottery kiln stilts today
Includes five various sizes ranging from half an inch up to two inches
Use a high fire clay to push into the plaster mold or pour slip until solid
Insert metal stilts or choose "Add High Temp Wire (10ft)" for an extra $8.99
Allow time to dry until they are ready to pop out when flipped upside down or pulled out by the metal
Use right away if in a rush or bisque fire for stronger stilts
Our high temp wire is rated up to 2,500 degrees Fahrenheit (Cone 12)
The wire is 16 gauge thick
One foot of wire can be cut into half inch sizes and make eight stilts with three points
Cut using tin snips or large pliers with cutter

The video calls out a length of 1/2" long for the hight temperature wire, but it needs to be about 1/4" longer. Wish there were a few more of the larger ones
I was so pleased to find one of these molds. Finding stilts to lift small items off the shelf seem to be the size that’s the most lost. I am ready to make what I need and not salvage the ones that are really too far gone.
Mold is great. I do wish some of the shapes were bigger.
