Kiln stilts are used for glazed, “low-fire” or earthenware firings to prevent the glaze from adhering to the kiln shelf itself. Rather than placing glazed bisque directly onto a kiln shelf, the use of stilts prevents the piece from sticking to the shelf. These long-lasting Roselli stilts are made from high quality materials and designed to withstand repeated firings and rugged treatment. Each A Series stilt features 3 arms and 3 metal wire points for support on each of the stilts’ three arms.
