I begged my dad in middle school to buy me a pair of blue and black checkered Vans when I was 12. It took weeks and lots of explaining why in the world I'd want them ("They're COOL, Dad okay?") but when I slipped my feet into those shoes, I was invincible. Though that was *cough cough* years ago, the classic cool of checkerboard remains. Checkered patterns are timeless and this mug will no doubt be a top seller in your shop! Perfect for antiquing, using bright colors, painting patterns within the pattern, or using speciality glazes, this mug is super versatile!
