Kiln stilts are used for glazed, low-fire, or earthenware firings to prevent the glaze from adhering to the kiln shelf. Rather than placing glazed bisque directly on the shelf, stilts support the piece and keep it from sticking during firing.

Kilncor kiln stilts are manufactured using a proprietary hot-press mold sintering process with durable ceramic refractory material for a dense, stable & high-strength body. The stilt points are formed from a high-temperature, high-strength alloy and precision machined center ground for durability and consistency. Designed to withstand numerous repeated firings, Kilncor stilts provide reliable support and durability while leaving minimal contact marks after firing.

These stilts are rated for use up to Cone 10, offering excellent performance for a wide range of firing temperatures.
