Kiln stilts are used for glazed, “low-fire” or earthenware firings to prevent the glaze from adhering to the kiln shelf itself. Rather than placing glazed bisque directly onto a kiln shelf, the use of stilts prevents the piece from sticking to the shelf. These long-lasting Roselli stilts are made from high quality materials and designed to withstand repeated firings and rugged treatment. D Series stilts are all-purpose, linear in shape, and feature multiple metal wire points for support. These stilts are totally versatile! You can use any combination to stilt just about any piece in your kiln.
